In an alternate universe where Benjamin Franklin’s undiscovered technology has been hidden for centuries underneath Philadelphia’s landmarks, a mystery is unfolding. Two high school prodigies—Temple, a self-taught scientist, and her brother Arturo, a brilliant musician—find themselves caught in a struggle between secret societies dedicated to safeguarding Franklin’s discoveries. “…And the set?! Wow. Set Designer Anna Kiraly "(Pig Iron’s Chekhov Lizardbrain and Pay Up), really shows off her extensive experience in theater and opera design with Franklin’s Key. Her talent is combined with the talents of Tony-nominated Lighting Designer Amith Chandrashaker (Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway) and Special Effects Designer Skylar Fox (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Boop! on Broadway) here. The stage feels massive, making the intimate Plays & Players space become larger than life.” More here
